  • According to the sign posted on the site, the City has received a Zoning Application.
  • The sign also states that public meeting information will be posted when available.
  • A zoning application for this project was submitted to the City in April 2019 but there is no information as to whether this application is approved. A previous application was submitted in 2012 and the City of Toronto decision identified a number of outstanding issues. It is unclear as to whether these issues have been resolved.

  • This site is one of two sites of the City of Toronto’s modular housing initiatives for the homeless.
  • NRB Modular Solutions has been selected as building manufacturer.
  • The City’s Development Charges Reserve Fund for Subsidized Housing will fund 60% of the project while the federal government, through Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation’s Affordable Housing Innovation Fund in grants and recoverable loans, will fund the remaining 40% of the project.

  • A zoning application for this project was refused by the City in March 2018 but real estate agents are advertising the project. The City Status Report states that the rezoning application is not consistent with the Provincial Policy Statement, conflicts  with the Growth Plan and  does not conform to the  City’s Official Plan.
